Last night while two teams were wrapping up trips to the Final Four, the Iowa State women’s basketball team was building for the future. The Cyclones picked up a commitment from class of 2019 in-state guard Maggie McGraw, according to a source.
The Indianola, Iowa product averaged 13.7 points per game, second on the team, while shooting 52 percent from the floor and 47 percent from behind the 3-point arc during her freshman campaign with the Indians. She was also second on the team in assists and steals for a squad that won 22 games and lost in the state quarterfinals.
The 5-foot-11-inch combo guard had also received a scholarship offer from Drake. She will play her first game for the Cyclones during the 2019-20 season.
