Matt Campbell’s 2016 secondary got more help on Monday night.
Thadd Daniels, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound defensive back out of Cerritos Community College in Florida, chose the Cyclones over Utah, Utah State and Purdue.
According to a source, Daniels, a cornerback, is expected to join the program at the semester break.
Daniels, a three-star prospect, is the second junior college defensive back that has committed to Iowa State in the last week, joining D’Andre Payne.
