Matt Campbell’s first full recruiting weekend as Iowa State’s head coach was a good one.
The Cyclones received not one, but two commitments on Sunday morning from prospects who were in Ames on official visits.
The first is Oge Udeogu, a 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman out of City College of San Francisco.
Udeogu notably had additional offers from Louisville and Houston. He will arrive at Iowa State in January, which is huge when it comes to getting him on the field in 2016.
Then there is Jatairis Grant, a 6-foot, 180-pound safety out of Akron, Ohio. He is formerly a Toledo commitment with (notable) additional offers from Cincinnati and the Rockets.
We will have more on this morning’s recruiting news later today and on Monday.
