JUCO wide receiver tweets that he’s a Cyclone commit

According to a prospect’s Twitter feed, Iowa State’s 2016 recruiting class grew by one on Wednesday night.

Chris Booker, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound wide receiver out of Dodge City Community College announced his pledged to Iowa State on social media.

Booker caught 53 passes for 830 yards and six touchdowns last season in his freshman year of JUCO ball. He was a full qualifier out of high school so Booker will have three years to play two when he arrives at Iowa State for the 2016 season.

According to his profile at Rivals.com, Booker held additional offers from Arkansas State and Southern Mississippi.
