T.J. Otzelberger to be paid $230,000 this season

AMES — Recently re-hired Iowa State men’s basketball assistant coach T.J. Otzelberger’s annual salary will be $230,000, according to his contract, which the ISU Athletics Department made available Monday.

Otzelberger coached the past two seasons at Washington, but returned to join Cyclone head coach Fred Hoiberg‘s staff again earlier this month after Matt Abdelmassih left for St. John’s.

Otzelberger previously coached at ISU under Greg McDermott and Hoiberg from 2006-13.
