In what was a large recruiting weekend for the Iowa State football program, Paul Rhoads added at least one commitment to his 2015 class.
Carson Epps, a wide receiver out of Jenks, Okla., tweeted on Sunday that he had made his pledge to Iowa State.
"Officially a Cyclone," it read.
Simple enough.
There is another layer to the commitment of this 6-foot, 200-pound prospect. He is the cousin of another Iowa State wide receiver commitment, Denver Johnson, who tweeted this photo of the two in Iowa State jerseys on Friday.
Epps caught 66 passes for just over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns in his senior season.
