ISU lands second DE commitment from Itawamba C.C.

 

Xavier Pegues, a 6-3, 285-pound defensive end for Itawamba (Miss.) Community College verbally committed to Iowa State Monday night.

 He’s the 13th known commitment to Coach Paul Rhoads’ Class of 2015 — and joins teammate Larry Jefferson, who committed to the Cyclones Sunday.

 Pegues, of Oxford, Miss., has 1.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss through seven games this season.
