Iowa State recieved a late-night quarterback commitment on Friday. Dominic DeLira, a 6-foot-1,174-pound dual-threat signal caller out of Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas tweeted the news.
"Proud to say I have committed to play football at Iowa State University.. #gocyclones"
DeLira camped at Iowa State a week ago and made his decision over the phone. DeLira threw for 2,356 yards and 26 touchdowns (seven INT’s) during his junior season in route to a 12-2 record. He also ran for 132 yards and eight touchdowns.
DeLira is the first quarterback commitment in the 2015 class (he will likely be the only) and is the fourth pledge overall.
