Report: Niang to miss first two weeks of CCL

According to the Des Moines Register andAmes Tribune, Iowa State forward Georges Niang will miss the first two weeks of the 2014 YMCA Capital City League season.

Niang, who suffered a broken bone in his foot during Iowa State’s second-round game in the 2014 NCAA Tournament, is simply going to rest the foot for precautionary reasons.

Niang averaged 16.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season for the Cyclones.
