Mitchell Moore named Assistant for Football Recruiting/Player Personnel

AMES, Iowa – Mitchell Moore has been named Assistant for Football Recruiting/Player Personnel, announced today by the Iowa State Athletics Department. Moore joined the ISU football program in 2013 as a graduate assistant for the offense.

The Cyclones scored 298 points, the 10th-best single-season total in school history, and ranked 14th nationally in the red zone offense (90 pct.) in 2013. In the final game of the season vs. West Virginia, the Cyclones generated 575 yards of total offense, the ninth-best single-game total in school history.

A native of Huxley, Iowa, Moore graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2008 after playing three years at receiver for the Warhawks. In 2007, he helped the team win the NCAA Division III national title and earned the Forrest Perkins Award.

Moore went on to become the wide receivers coach at UW-Whitewater, helping the team win the 2011 national title. He later served as the wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator at Southeastern Oklahoma State in the 2011-12 season.
