According to Bobby La Gesse from the Ames Tribune, defensive back Dedric Brinson is no longer a member of Iowa State’s 2014 recruiting class.
Brinson is a two-star cornerback out of Lake Wales High School in Florida.
There have been rumblings for months regarding Brinson’s status with Iowa State.
According to La Gesse’s report, Brinson’s high school coach said that Iowa State had "oversigned." That is interesting considering National Signing Day isn’t until next month, but that’s beside the point.
Brinson took a visit to Indiana in the fall that reportedly upset Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads.
