Williams Blog: More love from Dickie V

Iowa State didn’t move off of the No. 17 line when this week’s updated AP Top 25 was released on Monday morning but Fred Hoiberg’s team did receive even more love from the most well known hoops commentator on the planet.

ESPN’s Dick Vitale ranked Iowa State sixth in his ballot this week, up two spots from last week. That is higher than any other pollster. Kieran Carcy from ESPN New York voted Iowa State ninth. Every other pollster voted the Cyclones 10th or lower.

The only voter from the state of Iowa, John Bohnenkamp of The Hawk Eye newspaper in Burlington, had Iowa State at No. 12 on his ballot.
