Iowa State lands second JUCO safety in 24 hours

A few weeks ago at his Monday press conference, Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads noted that he wanted to sign two safeties in his 2014 recruiting class. On Tuesday, Rhoads landed both of those safeties in less than 24 hours.

Qujuan Floyd is the latest man to pledge his allegiance to Iowa State. The news was first reported by Trey Scott at Scout.com

Floyd, a 6-foot, 190-pound strong safety out of Santa Monica C.C. in California, could possibly serve as an immediate replacement to Deon Broomfield
