CFTV: Dorsey-Walker breaks CCL scoring record

Cyclone Fanatic’s coverage of the 2013 YMCA Capital City League is brought to you by our good friends at Heartland Finishes.

The YMCA Capital City League kicked off its 2013 season on Sunday night with a bang.

Sherron Dorsey-Walker, who redshirted last season for Iowa State, scored 67 points in Phoenix Renewable Resources 113-111 win over Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

Dorsey-Walker went 9-for-21 from 3-point range while breaking the previous league records of 64 and 65 points in a game, held by Will Clyburn and Josh Young (Drake).

Of course, Cyclone Fanatic was at the Valley Southwood Gymnasium to cover the season-openers.

Check out the video above for an interview with Dorsey-Walker with highlights as well.
