Per a source, Marshall transfer DeAndre Kane committed to Iowa State during his official visit on Thursday afternoon.
According to the source, Kane plans on signing with Iowa State on Friday. Kane chose Iowa State over Memphis and Pitt.
Kane, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 15.1 points and seven assists per game last season for the Thundering Herd. In his three years at Marshall, he’s never averaged fewer than 15.1 per game.
Kane graduated early and will be eligible to play right away next season for Iowa State.
