Q&A: Rashad Vaughn meets the media on unofficial

AMES — Another Q&A with an Iowa State basketball target that was on campus Saturday night. This one features Rashad Vaughn, who Rivals.com ranks as the 12th best prospect in the class of 2014.

Vaughn, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard had this to say…

Q: What are you looking for in a school?

RV: The fan section. The coaches. To run my style of play and stuff like that. Just a great college all around.

Q: What is your style of play?

RV: Just a style that gets up and down. A coach that lets his guards go. Stuff like that.

Q: What schools have offered you?

RV: Do you want me to name all of them?

Q: The ones that are high on your list…

RV: Kentucky, Louisville, Iowa State, Minnesota, Syracuse, Kansas, Maryland, Florida, Texas, Baylor. I can’t think of them all right now.

Q: Do you have a timeline?

RV: No.

Q: How many of those have you visited so far?

RV: Just Iowa State and Minnesota.
