The Iowa State football program has scheduled a home and home with Akron in 2018 and 2019. This news was announced on Iowa State football’s Twitter page on Thursday afternoon.

According to the post, Akron will travel to Ames on Sept. 22, 2018. The Cyclones will return the favor on Sept. 7, 2019.
