Paul Rhoads and his staff got some good news on Monday night.
Quan West, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver out of Willis (Texas) committed to Iowa State’s recruiting class of 2012.
West recorded 783 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior at Willis.
According to West’s profile at Rivals.com, he also had offers from Tulsa, Western Michigan and Colorado State.
Quick Take: I love the fact that West is 6-foot-4. Iowa State doesn’t have many big wide receivers on its roster right now. West should fit in nicely with the group of young, speedy and small receivers who are currently in the program. I’ll try to get in touch with West later this week.
