Randy Peterson of the Des Moines Register is reporting that Iowa State’s Sept. 11 date with rival-Iowa will be a 2:30 kick on either ABC or ESPN 2.

There’s no question in my mind that 2:30 kicks are the best in college football. Especially in this scenario. For those of you driving from central Iowa, you won’t have to wake up at 4 a.m. I love the ABC/ESPN 2 option. This is just great news. We’ll take it.
