Randy Peterson of the Des Moines Register is reporting that Iowa State men’s basketball forward LaRon Dendy’s status is “uncertain” for Sunday’s home game against Bradley.

Dendy, a junior from Greenville, S.C., reportedly went home yesterday to “take care of personal family issues.”
Dendy has been steadily recovering from a knee injury and playing sparingly over the past few weeks. He’s averaging 6.4 points per game for the Cyclones this year.
Chris’ Take
Relax everybody. Think of it this way. Nobody knows what is going on with Dendy’s family. Let’s hope that everything is okay on that front and then worry about basketball.
If Dendy misses the Bradley game, it’s not that big of a deal. If he misses multiple games, that is reason for concern. I just don’t see any point in losing it over this topic that right now, seems pretty minor. Dendy went home to take care of family issues. Let’s leave it at that until more information is out.
Cyclone fans are awfully fond of Dendy and rightfully so. He’s a flashy dunker, has a great basketball body and has shown promise to be an outstanding defender.
In my opinion, Dendy and Chris Colvin are the two bench spark plugs that could ultimately make or break a possible NCAA Tournament run for Iowa State.
