ESPN gives ISU a B- in hoops recruiting so far

A few days ago, ESPN.com updated their class of 2010 Big 12 basketball recruiting rankings.

Reggie Rankin of Scouts Inc. gives Iowa State a B – in the piece.

Rankin writes the following about Iowa State’s 2010 class thus far:

Small forward Melvin Ejim (Ontario, Canada/ Brewster Academy) and combination guard DeMarcus Phillips (Marshalltown Community College) will provide quality depth for Greg McDermott. Ejim is an athletic wing with a good midrange jumper. He will develop into a solid player for the Cyclones. Phillips is a former Wisconsin player of the year in 2008. He brings juco experience along with the ability to create for teammates and score right away at the Big 12 level.

Here are the grades that Rankin gave the 11 other Big 12 programs.

Missouri: A Oklahoma: A- Texas A&M: A- Baylor: A- Texas: A- Kansas State: B+ Oklahoma State: B+ Kansas: B Nebraska: B- Texas Tech: B- Colorado: Incomplete (no commits so far)
