CF Experts Pick’Em: Week 13

KXNO’s Ken Miller has all but locked up the inaugural CycloneFanatic.com expert pick’em challenge for this season but a lot of football is still yet to be played. Anything can happen. Miller went 6-1 again last week to pace the field along with Adam Carper and me. The Cyclones aren’t in action this week but our panel is picking games anyway. Here’s how we see things going down.

Current Standings

KXNO’s Ken Miller, 63-32 (6-1 last week)
ISU Football Alum Adam Carper, 56-39 (6-1 last week)
WHO’s Steve Deace, 55-40 (5-2 last week)
ABC 5’s Eric Murphy, 54-41 (4-3 last week)
CF’s Chris Williams, 54-41 (6-1 last week)
ISU Football Alum Bret Meyer, 52-43 (4-3 last week)

Ken Miller’s Picks

Texas @ Texas A&M – A&M is better at home but won’t derail the LongHorns.

Nebraska @ Colorado – Meaningless game, Hawkins goes out a loser.

Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma – What am I missing, Cowboys get 8 points! Wrong team favored, lets take the Cowboys.

Missouri vs. Kansas – Mizzou beats KU and finishes 8-4.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor 0 Tech will destroy the depleted Bears.

Pitt @ West Virginia – Huge spot, Pitt stays on course.

Clemson @ South Carolina – Lets go with the ACC, Tigers.

Utah @ BYU – Max Hall goes out a winner, BYU

Adam Carper’s Picks

Texas @ Texas A&M – Texas A&M is a different team @ home but Texas is too talented and experienced to overlook this game.

Nebraska @ Colorado – Apparently Dan Hawkins said recruiting his son was a mistake. If you were his son, what would you get Hawkins for Christmas this year? As for the game, Buffalos lose.

Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma – Not drinking the Okie State BCS bowl kool aid…Iowa fans get an early Christmas present.

Missouri vs. Kansas – A win here would help salvage Kansas season but Missouri is looking to avenge last year’s loss and will get the W.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor – Texas Tech ends Baylor’s season with a loss

Pitt @ West Virginia – Pitt wins simply because Dave Wannstedt’s hair is that good.

Clemson @ South Carolina – Spiller is a difference maker and a win here gives Clemson some momentum going into the ACC Championship game next week.

Utah @ BYU – Game could go either way but I’ll take the home team in this one.

Steve Deace’s Picks

Texas 28, Texas A&M 17 – Longhorns get the win and get out of town.

Nebraska 21, Colorado 13 – Huskers caught in a bit of a sandwich game.

Oklahoma 31, Oklahoma State 21 – Is this the final home game for Bob Stoops?

Missouri 27, Kansas 24 – An 8-4 record for young Missouri team shows Gary Pinkel’s program is solid.

Texas Tech 38, Baylor 24 – Last game for Mike Leach as head coach?

West Virginia 24, Pittsburgh 23 – Backyard brawl has BCS implications.

South Carolina 23, Clemson 21 – It’s just like the Tigers to lose this week.

BYU 34, Utah 24 – Cougars are the forgotten team in the Mountain West.

Eric Murphy’s Picks

Texas @ Texas A&M – UT will not overlook the Aggies. Horns win a shootout.

Nebraska @ Colorado – Nebraska will continue to gain confidence heading into its Big 12 championship showdown with Texas.

Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma – For once the Cowboys have more to play for in the Bedlam Series. Gundy the man coaches his boys to victory. Iowa fans are nervous.

Missouri vs. Kansas – Mangino’s final game at KU? Most likely.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor – Haven’t picked Baylor all year. Won’t start now.

Pitt @ West Virginia – The Backyard Brawl. More than a football game. Fans also square off in a no holds barred, winner take all, who has a worse accent and less teeth contest. WVU takes it all this year.

Clemson @ South Carolina – I’ll take Carolina at home.

Utah @ BYU – The Cougars win the Holy War for the third time in four seasons.

Chris Williams’ Picks

Texas @ Texas A&M – I’ve been saying it all week on the radio. This is going to be one of those wild weeks in the Big 12. I like A&M in the upset. Let the BCS controversy begin.

Nebraska @ Colorado – Strange things happen on the day after Thanksgiving. I like Colorado to cover the eight point spread but Nebraska will win the game.

Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma – this 10-point spread is flat out nuts. Really, this whole game depends on how healthy Zac Robinson is. Give me Oklahoma to win, OSU to cover.

Missouri vs. Kansas – I actually really think that KU will come out and play hard for their coach. In the end, Missouri is just the better team though. I’ll take the Tigers.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor – Will somebody please put the Bears out of their misery? Thank you Mr. Leach.

Pitt @ West Virginia – I’ll take the Panthers. I can’t stand that West Virginia coach.

Clemson @ South Carolina – SEC is a much better league. So there you go. I’ll take the Gamecocks.

Utah @ BYU – I will take BYU strictly because they are at home.

Bret Meyer’s Picks

Texas @ Texas A&M – Texas stays focused and in line for a spot in the BCS title game with a win in College Station.

Nebraska @ Colorado – Colorado plays well at home, but Nebraska’s defense is too strong. Huskers win on the road.

Oklahoma State Oklahoma – Oklahoma State makes a push for an at-large BCS bid with a win in Norman.

Missouri vs. Kansas – May be Mangino’s last game at KU. Missouri wins big in KC.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor – Texas Tech wins on the road.

Pitt @ West Virginia – Upset of the week. West Virginia wins a close one at home.

Clemson @ South Carolina – Clemson is looking forward to the ACC title game in Tampa. South Carolina wins at home.

Utah @ BYU – Utah is still reeling from the beat down at the hands on TCU. BYU wins at home.
