Really surprised by this outcome as Iowa was favored in only 3 matches but took 6 of 10. Still big question marks on Cael's ability to coach the big ones as they should of taken this dual.

Exactly what happened under Sanderson at ISU...very little (if any) wrestling up...quite a bit of wrestling down...

Not surprising. I was on record yesterday saying Iowa matched up very well against them and everyone said I was high.

I am shocked by this one. There is no way PSU should have lost this match. Cael has to coach that talent that he is recruiting

I still think you were high, but nice call on your part!

Wow this surprises me. I guess Brands really does own Cael.

Iowa took it to PSU and had everything go their way. They get an upset at 133, they have Marion in his season debut outwrestle Alton, they get a major at 197 and then PSU narrowly misses majors at 149 and 174.

133 and 184 were the difference. I didn't see Iowa winning those matches

The jury is out whether Cael can develop wrestlers, but he sure can recruit. A stable full of top talent now, and at least two #1 recruits at their weights for next year.
He brought talent to Ames that we can only wish for now.
