Thanks a lot for being out of service on Friday, I was hoping to get my radiator and fan to fix my car this weekend. I will choose Fedex next Thanksgiving.

Just don't wreck your car around Thanksgiving next year. Problem solved!

So you're fixing it - what all got screwed up with your suspension/steering?

I ship a lot and find the price and service of UPS should not be overlooked. I used to be in logistics (I was part-owner of an Airbourne Express Franchise -- now owned by DHL).

I ship a lot of small stuff, so I go with USPS, but when I buy off ebay, I usually find a seller with UPS rather than Fedex.

I'm off Friday. So is my wife. And my sister. And everyone I know.

Guess our clients are all finding new providers next year.

You seem to have a lot of trouble getting packages delivered. You must have been a dog that went after mailmen in a previous life.

So a company isn't allowed to be closed right before their biggest month of their year?

I work in transportation for an online retailer. It is very frustrating having a carrier not picking up, delivering, or moving on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

I made the mistake last year of ordering items and expecting them to be here on black Friday. UPS still delivers air packages so I would call them to see if you can go get it.

UPS managed to lose a $1700 laptop several years ago. It took them two weeks to admit they had no clue where it was, that was fun...

I bet whoever ended up with that was stoked.

This has convinced me UPS is a failure of a company, and I will never give them money again. I bet I will never have a problem with FedEx and use them for the rest of my life.
