I do not know how good he would be, but I think it would be entertaining.

I also think he would be able to better the BigXII brand as a whole.

Isn't/wasn't Cuban trying to get rid of the bowl system and institute a playoff? As I understand, most university presidents favor the existing system, so it would be a longshot for him to be the next Big 12 commissioner...

I think he would be great. He unquestionably understands how to negotiate TV deals, and would be a great leader as well. Won't happen though.

    In a word... YES!

I am still ****** (extremely upset urination) he got black balled out of owning the Cubs, apparently a centuries worth of suffering isn't enough. He is the kind of guy who would figure a way to get rid of Soriano and if he couldn't, he would just pay him to stay away.

back to the Big XII, the downside would be that most everything would probably be located out of Dallas, but that is about it. He is in to win, and if his job was to have a successful Conference with solid TV contracts, solid bowl alliances, and stability... it would get done.

    ****** is a bad word?

Why do you think he would be a great Big 12 commissioner? Have you taken a look at the Mavs finances since he took over? He is outspoken and energetic, but that doesn't mean he would be a good commisioner.

What about president clinton? What about greg maddux? Have we thought about donald trump? We need an administrator with a great vission for the conference, not a quassi-celebrity.

I be honest... I would be a great Big XII Conference Commissioner! Why you ask.

    A) I could do a better job than Beebe and would cost half as much

    B) I am a Cyclone fan, it stuff would be equal or else I kick the Longhorns out

    C) Did I mention I would do a better job than Beebe and cost half as much?

For a guy that set up business in Dallas. What is the difference between him and Dan Boobie?

"Has anyone seen Mr. Cuban? We're having some issues."
    It probably wouldn't work.

i opened the thread assuming u were joking. it appears u r serious in which case i would say this is quite possibly the dumbest thing i have ever heard. do u honestly think mark cuban is going to drop everything else he is doing to take time off from being a billionaire to put all his time and effort into what amounts to a pro bono charity case?

He's not a qassi-celebrity in the sense that he was on a reality TV show, he's a qassi-celebrity because he's a self made billionaire. If college football is being run like a business, wouldn't you want an extremely successful businessman in charge?

It's a complete hypothetical but, ****, I'd take Cuban for the fun factor alone. That would be great.
