The most recent activity in the Big 12 in the offseason:

    Oklahoma signs Frank Booker-SG-NR/NR
Texas' Jaylen Bond announces he is transferring
Oklahoma M'Baye declares for the NBA draft.

Markel Brown might be leaving for the draft. He is top 20 right now on the draft boards.

Pre season all big 12 probably Le'Bryan Nash, Ejim, and Cory Jefferson for sure. Kabongo and Markel Brown if they come back.

Dang I didn't realize people were so high on him. Is Nash projected anywhere?

No he isn't even a second rounder. He might be a 4 year player.

I'd put Perry Ellis with KU in that group. Kid has a ton of ability and will be a pain in everyone's backside next year.

Yeah Kansas will at least have 1 player. Either Ellis or one of their top 50 freshmen.

I know Kansas is Kansas and they have Self but holy cow, losing your whole starting 5 will be tough.

I think Oklahoma St is the biggest mystery for next year. If Markel Brown, Le'Bryan Nash, and Jean Paul Olukemi all come back Oklahoma St will more than likely win the conference IMO. Brown and Nash could still declare for the draft, and Olukemi might try to get a waiver for a 6th year of eligibility. If they get those 3 players back they will also add 2 top 100 guards to their roster. They would be absolutely loaded even though they are going to lose Marcus Smart.

Kansas loses 5 starters but they also add 4 top 50 recruits. They are loaded as always.

I think Smart made a certain coach look smart.

Yeah he did for sure. I think Olukemi and two top 100 freshmen can replace Smarts production from this season. They might even be a better team next year then they were this year if they get all Olukemi, Nash, and Brown back.

Are they replacing Travis Ford? If not, I'm not betting on them winning the conference.

I'm just basing that prediction on the talent and experience that they might have coming back.

Olukemi is gone. I believe. Was a 6 year senior and got hurt so his career is done.

I think Andrew White will be KU's best player next year. The kid can fill up the hoop from deep, and get to the rim. Good size and athlete, I think he was underused this year.
