Which is worse.....Boise, ID in 2002 or the Muddy Memphis in 2012?
No bowl game.
Both are better than home for the holidays, quit ********
Oh my god...Boise.
First, you can easily drive to Memphis. The weather may be cold or it may be nice. Either way you are probably out less than $400 per person.
Not sure if serious. Boise smurf turf home game or a Southern Bowl with an actual history?
You can't be serious? Or you are?
Being home watching Iowa win a bowl game. C'mon be happy that we're in a bowl game.
Beale St. in Memphis is supposedly party central, especially on NYE.
Memphis 100 times of 100
Have you been to Memphis? Beautiful city with a lot of history and lots of things to do!
Yup, that was an embarrassment to have to go there.
Sounds like people ******** about New York last year. If you go, you will have a good time. If you don't, watch it on television and enjoy getting a chance to watch the Cyclones one last time in 2012
Pumped about Memphis! Heading to Charlie Vergos Rendezvous EVERY MEAL! mmmmmmm.......ribs.
Boise and the blue turf by far is worse than Memphis
Which is worse,by far Boise especially when ISU played the home team, that's not a bowl game, that's a road game.
Spent 3 straight weeks in Memphis for work, best time of my life outside of working of course.
Yeah, the usual idiots* on HN are trying hard to ridicule our bowl game. The way I see it is that we are stuck playing with Tulsa again but they're stuck playing with themselves.

Screw off op. I can't wait to go!
Boise as a city blows Memphis away. however, the Liberty Bowl is much better, closer, and not on a blue turf.
They are closed Sunday's and Monday's, but not sure since it is New Years Eve....
The blue turf literally hurts my eyes. The fox people should have the computer color it green so that I could stand to watch the turf.
