that a few years ago that came off the bench his senor year and banged pretty well down low. He was a white guy, walk on, and a senor. I think he got a Public Intox and was suspended a few games. We need that guy...

What about Streff? From what I can tell that guy is huge, if he can't bang around in there then no one on this team can.

We do not need Varley back, he is doing just fine managing apartments in Ames. We could really use a Homan or Vroman though!

I mentioned this in another thread, Streff is a senior and has not cracked the rotation under 2 different coaches now. Just because he is big does not mean he is any better than who we are currently playing. I would assume that he just not good enough to be contributing meaningful minutes if he hasn't played by now.

Skogs was big too but he never contributed more than some garbage minutes most of his career. Gotta trust the coaches know best on this, they see him in practice, we don't.

Nah... I'm holding out for Victor Alexander. Homan or Fizer aren't big enough for me.

I've played with Streff at the Rec before... granted, I bet he was just dogging it around, but he is not a division 1 basketball player.

He's more of a D-1 than Bergstrom I'm sure. Take note, if you want your kid to play on a D-1 team give enough money that they'll name a building after you. :laugh8kb: Honestly, I know people like to cheer for Bergie but watching him out there in garbage minutes is painful. At least we aren't wasting a scholarship on him so maybe I shouldn't care but I used to play against guys at the rec that had to be much better than him.

I heard that he got chosen for the Real World, but that is not 100%. Also heard it was going to be in Omaha.

Give the school money and say your son has to be on the team until he graduates, complete B.S.

What about Staple?? Damn that guy had a terrible shot, but was a great post defender, and made his presence felt.

LOL, just make sure Agnew doesn't get to the FT line.

Wasn't it last year that he went something like 2-50 on FT's?

There are other finalists from Ames besides Streff. Also unlikely it would be held in Omaha. No impossible though.

  20. Even Staple had a streak where he was giving us some points. He was always inconsistant though.

Last I read Streff was one of 12 competing for 6 spots on the Real World. Is it seriously going to be in Omaha? Have we run out of cities already?
