    my mom left a message about this on my voicemail this morning. i know they dont do this in ames. the city fo ames does notbeleive in snow removal.

    Saw a clip on the news up here a couple weeks back about one of the suburbs using molases in with the salt brine. I guess it smelled like gingerbread when they spray it.

    Try living across the road from Burke in Nevada. It always smells like pizza toppings or garlic bread, 365 days a year.

    Really a smart move by Ankeny though when you think about it. It helps melt ice on the roads, and keeps away pesky vampires, win win.
