Cassandra Baier replaces Pete Link who Prohm hired to train/condition the MBB team. Seems to have a nice resume.

IMHO, watching as a fan, strength hasn't ever seemed to much of a feature of the gal Cyclones even after they hired a coach specific to that purpose (most Div I team don't have a team specific coach for WBB strength and conditioning). Maybe some of that is Bill's style seems anti-physical anyway or so it seems.

Women's basketball is getting more physical all the time. Fans would be surprised if they knew how much some of the young ladies weigh. A team without a strong strength and conditioning program will not be successful on a regular basis.

Cyclones.com has a nice video about Baier. I think it's by Jamie Steyer. Baier looks small next to our women. Her single-minded devotion should help build on the base from Pete Link.
