Re: UI Professor Injured by Balloon Explosion

Does anyone else think this sounds like something a PHYSICS professor should know better than to do on an extremely hot day....?

There's a reason he's not an ISU physics professor.

He's not a physics professor or a professor at all. He's a staff member (Instructional Resource Specialist ). Regardless, I hope he's okay and if he is, I bet he's embarrassed.

That's why you take the tanks and empty balloons. I'm wondering if static elec set it off. Static is fun to mess with when the balloons are filled with regular air...but Hydrogen... watch out.

Hope the guy is ok... but COME ON!

This has Darwinism written all over it.

It'd be one thing if he didn't somehow realize the balloons might explode. But when he's taking them with the express intent of producing an explosion....
