He already has "The Run" by Seneca and Culbertsons FG against Iowa.

But a few I can remember are...

The Marv Seiler run against Nebraska in 92.

Ja'maine Billups punt return in the bowl game.

    Adam Runks INT vs Iowa.

Curvey's INT vs Colorado in the Tornado game.

Lane Danielson reverse vs Texas Tech, same game as "the run".

The one handed catch by Todd Blythe in triple OT 2 years ago.

Goal line stand against Mizzou in DMACs last game.

What else am i missing? Ive only been a Cyclone for 12 years so most are recent.

    Have to go with Marvelous.
There was a game against OU in Norman that we upset them a couple years before that. Blaise Bryant had a huge TD catch in that game.

I don't care what anyone says, that tackle by Brown near midfield on 3rd and 1 in the Iowa game was a stellar play. Iowa moves the chains on that play and I have little doubt we lose that football game.

He came off the edge and stuck that back on his can pretty hard. Damn fine one-on-one tackle.

    1) J.J. reverse for a touchdown on the first offensive play vs Iowa in 2000.

    2) Seneca getting the ball OVER THE GOAL LINE to BEAT Florida State.

It's not a single play. But didn't Troy Davis drop about 250+ on Mizzou his Jr year?

That was a game to behold.

2002 Iowa game..3rd and long deep in our own territory and Seneca completes a pass to Whitver throwing completely across his body.

I still love Lamarcus Hicks INT for a TD in the 2005 Iowa game!

I really think you have to put the Billups punt return in the Insight Bowl on the list. Biggest play in one of the few bowl games ISU has had.

My personal all-time favorite is Luther Blue's kickoff return against Nebraska in 1976.

From the recent past, Ryan Baum's punt return for a TD against UNI to keep us in the game. You don't have to remind me about the following two punt returns.

Of all time, your choice of Troy Davis runs or the Reverse by Lane Danielson in the TT game.

Everyone remembers the Wallace-Whitver pass against Iowa in 2002, but my favorite play of the game was the safety. To me, that sealed the comeback and at that moment, it was the loudest I have ever heard ISU fans in Kinnick.

I also loved the Wallace run into the end zone against Nebraska in 2002 when he drug his feet through the end zone. That was sweet!

Troy Davis put 378 or so up against Mizzou his junior year.

I would say another big play was Ellis Hobbs picking up a Baylor player at the 1/2 yard line to save a TD - his SR. year I think? Also his pick to finish off the Independence Bowl that same year.

It actually would have brought us within one point, 38-37. I hear a lot of people screaming that we would have beaten FSU, but the reality is that we would have just gotten closer. We would still have to make the PAT, and then, if good, play overtime.

Besides, even though Seneca was "out of bounds", we still had a chance to score. We had a first-and-goal with 4 seconds left, and we tried an option play around right tackle -- against FSU's fast and strong defensive line. No way we were going to score by stretching them out like that -- should have pounded it inside or over the top of the pile. But whatever. Bobby Bowden still sucks.

That was on the bootleg, right?

I loved the run he had in the 3rd quarter (??) heading to the south endzone. About 40 yards or so. Rolled left, took the entire D with him, then ran back across and through about 5 of them and busted into the open. Didn't score, but it was like watching man against boys on that play.

Steve Paris picking off Drew Tate in 2005 and knocking him right the hell out on the return.

*Marv Seiler completing a pass on a fake punt at Oklahoma in 1990. ISU was at its own 25, down by 11, in the 3rd quarter. The pass went for 20+ and kept a TD drive alive. Then ISU won the game on a sneak by Chris Pedersen with under a minute remaining.

*Blocked punt at Iowa, 1998, first quarter. Led to a TD and a quick 7-0 lead.

*Carl Gomez, 2000 at Colorado. Late field goal knocked snow off the crossbar as it went over, and ISU won by 8.

*Lane Danielsen, 2000 at Oklahoma State. Game-winning TD reception.

*Adam Runk, 2001 at Missouri. Knocked down a Tiger pass in the end zone to clinch the win.

*Grant Steen's interception, followed by Craig Campbell's strip and Ennis Haywood's recovery, 2001.

    *"It's a safety!", 2002 at Iowa.
