That's actually pretty helpful. Affect/effect is the one I struggle with.
As strange as it sounds, the line "as a child, he was affected eaten by his parents" is funny enough to remember, which might make it useful.
Your a major looser if your read that. Their isn't a funny thing in that article weather true or not. The wierd thing is that its definately not going to effect message board spelling. Oh well, its better then alot of other stuff written by the oatmeal.
