We have a group of 14. Only sort of enjoying the mayhem this announcement has caused....
It isn't so much: "Oh how could this happen?!" It's more: "Shouldn't there be a perk to already having tickets" You could even look at length of time....
I realize they want money (we're just thankful we can keep ours) but it seems like bad customer service.
can we get this in Cardinal? can gifs be edited like that?
We need to find a way to project a holograph image of that on center court during introductions, coming down from the scoreboard. How awesome would that be?
I'm not a weather person, but isn't this spinning the wrong way?
That and it looks more like a hurricane than clouds.....
We just have three tickets, but the same people have been sitting around us for 5-6 years; we've kind of become a "group" now.
Google tells me counterclockwise would be correct for a northern hemisphere cyclone.
When you see footage, stuff from the ground is always shown being drawn upward around the funnel. This looks like it would be pushing stuff back down.
And this is why I am glad I kept buying tix through the McD years as a place holder, even though sometimes I couldn't give them away
Gotcha. Up/down vs. left/right. I have no idea.
Same boat. We are now being rewarded.
We started buying during the Morgan years...had too many kids and kid activities to afford it timewise or financially before that. We bought mini-paks the first two years, then when they switched to cheap season tickets in the corner balconies we opted in. Went to most of the games, too. I told oldman we'd been in our seats for about 8 or 9 years...it might be more than that.
So the complaints in this thread are that ISU allowed donors without tickets to get some ahead of people that already have tickets who want more? I see absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. Sorry if you fall in that second group, but be glad that you have tickets at all.

Looks like prices of people reselling individual game tickets will be going up.
If we had last year's schedule this year, Michigan and Iowa would pay for the whole year.
Ditto. Missed last year. I missed that they were open. Tried yesterday and we're sold out.
I'm happy to have tickets, just disappointed in the communication. I didn't think donors - renewing or not - would be shut out of the opportunity to put their name in the hat.
It's a good problem to have to figure out how to deal with season ticket sellouts and hopefully it will go more smoothly next year.
Thank goodness that I bought season tickets last year...
