Anyone else just see that TD drop by Penn State. Wide open in the end zone. Corner fell down. No one around him. Receiver has it bounce off his numbers. Wow.

This is the ugliest football game I have seen in a long time. Almost unwatchable.

Yeah, I just saw that. Oops.....doesn't matter, they got one now. Penn St.'s qb hasn't looked too good until now. Iowa's offense looks worse though. In this type of game, a 10-0 lead is big.

    Iowa's secondary is looking miserable.
They aren't getting any pressure either.

I think Penn State might have all the points they need to win this game.

13-0.....about a thirty second drive right before half for a long field goal.

Iowa just looks inept. Looks like they'll struggle to match their conference win total of last year.

Is that McCarney coaching Iowa? Let the air out of the ball with a minute left in the half, then wind up giving up a last second FG?

And why can't we watch OU/Texas without paying for it?

I've only watch about 5 minutes. Slow and boring. The last 50 seconds of the first half was a joke. Penn State looked like they were trying to run out the clock. Iowa looked like they gave up and let Penn State go down the field for a field goal. I'm either watching the second half or going out in my back yard and pick up dog poop. Tough choice.

Because for some reason ABC thought that Iowa might want to watch the Iowa-Penn State game instead of the Texas-Oklahoma. Crazy, I know. That game isn't exactly thrilling either, but it's more exciting than this one.

I was thinking about editing that myself. thanks for the fix.

Not sure who they are going to beat this year, maybe Minnesota.

I don't see many conference wins combined between ISU and them

Illinois is going to DESTROY Iowa next week. If that line isn't [Iowa +30, it should be.

Northwestern beat Michigan state today, but they both put up 40+ points. I'm really starting to struggle to find another W on Iowa's schedule this year. Even Western Michigan is looking like a toss up to me. Iowa really looks like they've given up.

As much as I hate losing, I feel good about how we are playing when we get beat. I can't imagine Iowa fans feel the same.

One more TD by Penn State and ABC has to think about going to OU/Texas

It's a tough year on the Cyclones, but watching your in-state rival suck it up just as bad or even worse every week makes it more bearable. 8 straight big 10 losses...WOW, Kirk Ferentz raise time yet?

Is this going to be a weekly thing?

Iowa will probably lose on out - that's not news to anybody. In fact, there is a lot of talk that Barta plans on forcing some sort of staff re-organization.

It's one thing to gloat about a rival's loss, but when your team is equally as bad, it looks sad. Iowa was in the game against PSU (at the end, for about 5 minutes - at least that's what I'm going to tell myself). PSU isn't any good, Iowa isn't any good, and possibly the only real teams in the BT this year are Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio State.

On that note, USC lost to Stanford, so maybe Iowa's bad season is just the cause of some sort of rip in the time-space continuum. No? No. Eh - these losses actually have stopped hurting. That's bothersome.

Why did you go to ISU douche? I was the biggest Iowa fan until i was 18 and went to ISU. I figuresd out theres more than 1 university in the state. Just drop out or dont go to college like every other Iowa fan. If you dont like it here, go to HR or HN.
