Someone else is going to have to find a source for this. I work with a German national who knows I'm a huge Iowa State fan. He told me yesterday that Germans are singing Staiger's praises as he played a huge role in Germany's win over Russia yesterday. Anyone have any info?

Edit: Here's the only uninspiring link I could find.

I'd always heard Reagan was pretty influential in the defeat of Russia. I guess Lucca works behind the scenes.

Good for Lucca. Anyone have an idea when he is going to be back on campus?

I would be interested in this too. I assume he is doing his studies while over there because it's odd that he can be over there while school is in session and be eligible.

Plus, he's missed all of the intense strength-training/condtioning sessions with the rest of the team over the summer and now fall.

I guess I'm not counting on Lucca to provide much more this year than last. Its not like he's tearing things up over seas scoring 30 a game.
