Per a source, junior K.J. Bluford is leaving the Iowa State basketball program. Bluford has played in 7 of Iowa State's 11 games this season, averaging 5.4 minutes along the way.

Can't really blame him. Not getting a ton of playing time as a junior. Best of luck to him.

Not surprised. Hope he lands on a decent team. As much as he shoots the ball he could put up some ridiculous numbers on the right team.

Enjoyed watching him fire threes in blowouts. But also am not surprised.

    Best of luck to K.J.

A lot of teams could use a guy who can create his own shot like KJ can. Best of luck.

I thought he'd be gone, but I thought it would be after the season.

I think if he enrolls for the spring semester at another school, he would be eligible to play there beginning in the spring semester in 2015 (i.e. conference play).

Best of luck to him. Is he leaving immediately, as in he will not be on the team next semester or will he be around the rest of the year?

I guess McKay won't have to pay his way at all now.
