Pretty common after a coaching change.

Sounds like to me the new coach said its my way or the highway. I guess they bought a bus ticket.

I can understand during the transition but, this is odd. I thought it was odd when Bates did here but he wasn't playing and this kid was, and he isn't the only one. That's odd.

Let me see if I can name them and give the given reasons:

Cullen Christian-Got passed by not one but two freshman right away
Carvin Johnson-Must have been the staff or playing time but he played a little
Ray Vinopal-He followed the old staff to Pitt
Greg Brown-No one ever really seemed sure why he was offered. He commited early but again, was passed by every other freshman in his position.
Chris Barnett-Seemed to be homesick. It was right away
    Tony Posada-See above
Jeron Stokes-He didn't look like he was ever going to play much so possibly playing time?
Kellen Jones-There were rumors speculating this wasn't his decision.

So, yeah, they have lost a bunch of guys with the change. That doesn't shock me with the polar opposite offensive outlook and I think a complete attitude change. The good thing is that it has opened up a lot of room for this recruiting class.
