Is this a big deal? Does Central Florida have many players?

I don't really pay much attention to recruiting, so this is not surprising that I've not heard much of this guy.....but I'm surprised the love for this guy on this board isn't a little more obvious if he's the real deal.

I called him the Sam Bradford we missed out on a few years ago. I think he is great.

He is certainly the "real deal" in high school. I cannot tell you how much I'm looking forward to finding out if he's the "real deal" in college. Go Cyclones !!! Go Sam Richardson !!!

Part of me wonders if the reason that Steele was brought in was to ensure that Sam doesn't have to play early.

This kid is really good. I still can't believe he was not wanted by more schools. I can't wait to seem him wearing #15 in a cyclone uniform.

Agreed. Again though, I think the key will be not having to throw him to the lions right off the bat.

He makes the kind of throws in his videos that we need for this offense to click.

I would compare his type to Andrew Luck of perhaps a college version of Alex Smith. Can run, would rather throw.

how would you differ between sam bradford and andrew luck? bradford ran a 4.7 and squatted 500 pounds out of HS. a phenomenal multi-sport athlete.

i would say the same for andrew luck. both prototype NFL quarterbacks who are deceptively good atheletes

Because I like Andrew Luck more. Other than that I guess you have a very good point.

Ha what a joke! Andrew Luck a 'deceptively' good athlete

Yea, a qb that threw for 7,000 yrds and ran for 2,085 yards in h.s.
