So last weekend me and a couple of buddies were out at the bars and got to talking about the QB position. To make a long conversation short, I bet both of them that Jantz would be the one who took the first snap of the season while they both said Tiller. What do you think?

I think you were all drunk, because nobody knows.

Which is why they bet on it.

I'd go with Jantz. Slight lean. About 60/40.

I'll bet that it will be Jantz. Or Tiller. Or Capello. Or Barnett.

Of course no one knows. Thats the whole point of the conversation and making the bet. If everyone knew then it wouldnt be very interesting

Fair enough. I guess I was misreading your intent. You hear about friendly wagers for fun and you hear of wagers to "put your money where your mouth is". I shouldn't have assumed that it was the latter.

    My mistake.

I would say Tiller 75%/25% on Jantz. I think Jantz will get a lot of snaps this year though. And if one of them gets hurt, I bet Barnett gets quite a few as well.

The bet is just for first snap. In that case I'll take Shontrelle Johnson on a half back direct.

Hoping Jantz (just because that means he beat out what we have seen from Tiller)

But guessing Tiller (which isnt bad either)

But seriously my guess would be Jantz. From what I have read and watched he seems like the more "mature quarterback", if you will.

If it was up to me, I'd start Jantz, and give Tiller a shot at WR. Long term, I think Barnett will develop into a very good quarterback in this system. We will just have to see how it plays out, I back CPR 100% on who he puts out there.

    Tiller - 30%
    Capello - 15%
    Barnett - 15%

My bet would be for Jantz, with Barnett as my wild card.

Now that leads into a whole other topic, who takes the first snap at RB?

I am still skeptical of Jantz but I have seen him a couple of times now and he looks very Tim Tebowish! All-American kid and very athletic looking>

If Woodie lines up behind Rabbit in the Cyclone (Wildcat) formation who wins that bet?
