It's coming, and it's going to be around for at least the next 3 years. Sam Richardson and Grant Rohach appear poised to become the 2nd coming of Jantz/Barnett. It sucks.

I don't think there is a controversy - I just assume the coaches have thrown in the towel any time Rohach comes in.

Grant checks down way too much. And on that last INT he had multiple guys wide open on the other side of the play.

Give me Sam or give me death.

With line that can't block consistently and receivers dropping the ball, what QB are you putting in there to win? Team loss today. QB controversy? I think not. Richardson threw that one up for grabs and they pulled him. Needs to learn that he's not immune to sitting the bench for making stupid plays.

Yup, because Grant looks so good. Hopefully we can go out and find a JC QB who can actually play. Throwing INTs in garbage time is no way to convince me you should be starting next year.

It is beyond ridiculous how many open receivers Rohach is missing. This is why ISU has QB issues. They recruit kids who look good on paper, but completely lack the intangibles.

No controversy here.. just an injured Richardson.

I've been saying this for weeks. QB is the MOST important position on the team when it comes to wins and losses. Always has been and probably always will be.

But I'm not convinced either Sam or Grant are what we need for a #1 guy right now. I think we need to go out and find the best JUCO we can at this point. We need more competition at this position.

Pretty much agree. Sam's making some bad passes this year that he didn't make last year, and I'm chalking it up to his injuries, o-line injuries, and taking too many hits since he's our best runner without Wimberly. The offense is just a mess right now, partly due to Mess and partly to injuries.

It's Sam Richardson IMO. He has a lot of work to do on reads and fakes, but injuries took their toll. We need to get rid of Mess and find a way to keep him from having to run 20+ times when we have plenty of good RB's and keep the guy healthy and protected.

Rohach may have his true day, but he's got longer to go and if Lanning is in the running, he better be heads above SR and the real deal if we are going to start him day 1 next year.

Mess has played 5 QB the last 2 seasons, the result have pretty much been the same. Each one of them have got worse with more PT. The QB isn't the problem, its the lack of development at the QB position that is the problem.

We need to get a JUCO QB, maybe a couple of them.

I don't see either QB being the answer to our QB problems. There are other larger problems, but I think a true running QB would hide a lot of the Olines problems.

Does Seneca have a brother, cousin or son, yet?

Well, either that or the fact that our pass protection has been a sieve. One of the two.
