My friend and I were debating how to discuss a few last names of players on Iowa State. Here are the ones we know fo sho.

    Ejim(edge-um)

    Lucious (loo-shiss)

    Niang (nee-yang)

    Okoro (o-core-o)

We were debating Palo. Is it pronounced (paul-o) or (pal-o) or (pay-lo)?

I think you have an answer by now, but it's definitely "Paul" and then "O"

Edit: Or you could look at it as "Pa" (as in grandpa as previously stated) and then "low"

No one in this country can ever pronounce my name right. It's not that hard. Na-gheen-an-a-jar. Nagheenanajar.

That could be pronounced a lot of different ways. It all depends on how the vowels are pronounced. And if any letters are silent. So I can see how it's always pronounced wrong.
