On this huge non-conference day of Cyclone basketball, what are your predictions?

    I think ISU 89, Michigan 85, heart attacks 13.
Rashad makes things official, at least face-to-face with Fred.

Since the question has to come up, "Why a new thread just for this?", I give two reasons:
    1. New question
    2. Push football further down on a day that belongs to the Freddieclones.

My gut (or maybe gas) has been feeling for days that today is the day Matt Thomas goes off and makes a huge name for himself with 7 or 8 threes.

I'm thinking about 30 of those threes happen today between the two teams. This will be a wild one!

Niang steps it up a notch - double\double
Monte Morris has the worlds most boring stat line but reminds Walton who was Mr. BB in Meeshigan
Kane is a bit frustrated today but has some clutch plays in last few minutes.
Thomas goes 5 out of 6 from 3.
First team to 70 wins - ISU 78 Meeshigan 76.

wish this game was in 2 months so ISU had more time to gel, I think the new kids are going to be tight based on the atmosphere, Niang is going to be too hyped, and ISU will have a rough start. However, I have a good feeling ISU will battle back and make a game out of it to lose by 7, mainly due to last minute fouling to send Michigan to the line.

However, if Ejim plays and Monte and Deandre can stay loose and keep it a team game, ISU will win by 7.

Have a good feeling about this. Don't want to put a number to it. But feeling good.

I feel great about it. They're best player isn't playing. He's been out for awhile, so I'm sure they've adjusted without him, but he's the only true difference maker that they have.

We're deeper and I think we have a little better talent than they have.

Hilton will be rocking and this team will help us forget football.

Prediction? ESPN DOESN'T show the old school clip of Johnny Orr telling **** Vitale "...AND WE KICKED YOUR ***!"

So I'll post it for them.

Michigan is really really good. It will take a big Big boy effort just to have a chance to win. Hopefully a "Here's Johnny" rendition from the pep band takes the crowd over the top.

I think Fred would be happy to be close late. If we can figure out how to do that, look for the crowd to pull the kids through at the end.

Hope it's a great atmosphere, Vaughn, and the other visitors, leave with their ears ringing for the next week.

    Go Cyclones!

Hopefully the refs don't decide the outcome of the game.

I think Michigan is good. Very good. But Fred will have a game plan. My only worry is the boys being too jacked for it. Monte has talked about how big it is for him. Niang has posted about it on Twitter. Got to play within ourselves.
