Playing at home during the tournement seems to be a advantage for the home team by far. (9) Michigan State defeated (1) Duke at Michigan State's Arena (Whatever that place is called) Should that be allowed, or should they play on a neutral spot. Better yet set up like the men's tournament.

It'll be interesting to see if Michigan State still has their teeth on neutral court.

unfortunately stadiums are half full for home games in the womens tourny. Not every where follows like the fans that follow ISU.

For the Women's Tourney, the NCAA has to balance fairness with selling out venues, and this is the conclusion sometimes. If Duke would of been a host this year, they would of been playing at home.

Agreed. It is hard to get into a sport that puts 'fan numbers' over fairness of the game.

Thats a double-edged sword. If more people got into it Women's B-Ball, fairness would not have to put in jeopardy.

Well I guess we could go back to the "fairness" neutral sites, with about 2,500 fans in a 16,000 seat arena. We just went through 4 years of that failed experiment.

I'm sure the women would prefer to play in front of more fans.

I dont know if people EVER will get into womens hoops.

If people aren't into it then why try to make the tournament like the mens?

I get your points and don't mean to come off really harsh on it. It just seems a bit silly to decide the national champion of your sport based on this.

Good thing this year ... it is all working out for ISU :)

True ... or they could play in front of 2500 fans in a 4000 seat stadium.

Even if ISU would bid to host every year, that wouldn't happen. We have been fortunate with Minnesota not making it and UMN being a host.

Technically, Greensboro isn't home. It just happens to be in their home state. Yeah, that oughta work:jimlad:
