Don't know...don't get why booker didn't play in the second half either. Melvin leaves a lot to be desired.

He banged up his knee when he went down near the end of the aTm game. They mentioned he was in pain. It looked like he dressed, but Fred decided not to play him.

Yeah... what was the deal with Booker? Plays pretty effectively in the 1st half, and then sits the rest of the game. Sometimes I just wonder what Fred is doing? Of course, maybe Booker mouthed off or something and Fred sat him, who knows? But with Gibson not healthy, I think Royce could have used a little help down low in the 2nd half.

Fred said in the post game that he wanted to get Booker back in there but kept Ejim in there because of matchup issues.

Why not create a matchup problem for them?

Because we don't want Booker having to chase Kim English all over the floor.

Yeah, Ejim was working his butt off chasing him around. It's a trade off- you give them something on one end, and hope to take it back on the other.

Melvin might be the most inconsistent offensive player since the german kid. He has been pretty good on defense lately but on offense it seems if he makes his 1st shot he will be aggressive and get 15 pts or he'll miss his 1st shot, play like crap the rest of the game and end up w/ 1 or 2 pts. Percy would have made a difference tonight.

Melvin has the worst hands I have ever seen in a basketball player.

Woulda been nice to see a bit of Booker in the 2nd half. Had a huge shot blocking night and a nice 3.
