    This is not just any other no-hitter. This was a no-hitter against the Chicago White Sox!

    That's one of the worst no hitters in the history of baseball. Good for him but only half of his pitches were for strikes. Just shows you how bad the Sox are right now.

    Actually, no - by definition these would be "worse" no-hitters than what Liriano threw:

    His opponent tonight threw a worse no hitter.

    If this means the Sox decide to make some changes, though, I'm happy for it. They're more lifeless than bin Laden right now.

    If the umpire would have called strikes that appeared inside of the strike zone box on the TV, he would have breezed through the game. His curve wasn't as good as it could be, but his cuttrer was working. Hope this pumps up the Twins and they get going when everybody is back.

    Twins needed a boost. It's a long year but you want to stay within striking distance. I'd like to see them 5 games back from the division leader by the All-Star break...obviously I'll take better than that.
