Only if he has the swag of his big bro. Sounds like they play a very similar brand of ball.

I would think we are probably taking a look at him.

There was some indication last year that we have been interested and that a visit to Ames was deemed an "unofficial visit", but I haven't heard anything lately. His HS team is supposedly very good.

I like how his defense is referred to as "Babb Island". Sounds like he's learned a little bit from his brother.

2014 is looking pretty strong for us, so he may be a fall back player.

2014 would be nice with Custer, Vaughn, Travis. Pencil us in for an elite 8 run.

I don't think Nick Babb will be walking on anywhere. I would be very happy to have another Babb on the roster if Fred offers a scholly

It's one of those things. I doubt Chris Babb would be a guy I would recruit heavily out of High School if I were Hoiberg, but dang, I would love him on my team. I assume it's the same with Nick Babb. You just can't assume that Nick will be a boss like Chris.

I think Nick is someone you take a chance on though.

I hope he comes up. You need to sign guys that will play four years and are mature enough to be a role player. If he is like Chris he is both of those things.

Hopefully Chris tells him ISU only wants one good D player so he can be the D standout!

Travis isn't happening from what I've heard.

AMA would be an even bigger get though. O'Mara would be another good one

What makes you think that? We have Custer, but Travis and Vaughn are long shots.

Read my post above. I think Travis isn't interested in us. I also agree RV is a loooong shot.

AMA talked highly about us in a recent article and O'Mara would be a possibility. Long way to go between now and then and back to back tourney's will help

Actually, as I look at Nick's twitter page, in exchanges with other people, it seems as though today was also a "visit"...

    https://twitter.com/Renickulous14

So, maybe the coaches are treating this as a recruiting visit as well as a big brother sr. night visit...

aka, back up plan. Don't get me wrong, I'd love another Babb. But we still have our fishing line out there for some bigger fish.
