Super Material Can Stop Speeding Bullet | ABC News - Yahoo!
This has some potential. Pretty sweet.
that is sweet. The fact that it stops the bullet, closes the entry hole, and contains it, is really cool.
They have a teflon or kevlar like material they use for military helicopters as the fuel tank that does something similar But that stuff isn't transparent and doesn't really stop it as much as just sealing the hole behind the bullet.
I wonder if they can stop bigger and faster projectiles with additional layers of this stuff. I'm guessing it's still in the development stages so I'm sure someone can improve it. I wonder what it's weight is compared to our current bulletproof glass.
It may be able to stop bullets... but can it stop Superman? Not interested unless it can do both.
Yeah, but how does it do against those non-speeding bullets? That's the REAL question.
I hope so. Nothing more dangerous that grandma and grandpa bullet putting along at 800fps rather than 1700fps :realmad:
Especially when they always have their damn left turn blinker on!!!!
But will it stop a Hadouken? Thats my concern.
Maybe instead of trying to stop one you should just jump over it.
Good point. Im old now though, I can just be jumping around.
Well maybe you should stop street fighting Zangief
