3* LB A.J. Klein (6-1, 215) from Kimberly, WI per wisconsin preps website. ranked 4th in the state looks like he'll make a good mike linebacker in chizik's system as he does well dropping into coverage

    From online forum Recruiting Planet:

Klein has announced he will be attending Iowa State next fall.

which will change if the Badgers offer after losing out on a few LB's higher on their board like Goodlow.

    ----------

Hope A.J. isn't messin' around with ISU but stands tall when he gives his word.

Yeah, anybody else notice the cockiness of some of those badger fans? Saying he is a lock if wisconsin offers? Im not so sure, by the looks of it, if he were really that set on Wisconsin, why not wait a little longer, especially if it seems inevitable like some of the posters are predicting?

If you see the YouTube video on the blog (shamless plug), he's got wheels, and he hits hard. It's an impressive video.

Good pickup. What I can't understand is why we haven't offered Jake Knott of Waukee. Same type of player, with a better frame and run sub 4.6

Both of their highlight tapes are equally as impressive. Physical players.

Wow - several + about him
    - dude can get off a block
    - dude can pick off a pass
    - dude has wheels and can lay down the lumber.

He's good now - wait until Shep and Chizik get done with him - if he lives up to potential he could be good enough to be the next Cyclone to make it to the next level...

    Guy can move.

I like how fast he turns upfield after the interception. He's always thinking the next step, it seems like.

We really need to win some ball games this year to cement these commits and keep the momentum going toward a solid class.
