So much for Iowa State not being the espn number 1 ever.
Here's a clip.
After we scored the first 4 pts in OT my brother told me that we were going to win this... I just laughed. A few minutes later I made 20 bucks.
I was sure that we would go down in regulation and try to throw up a long 3 piont shot when all we needed was 2 pionts. Sure enough mizzou comes straight down with a layup.Enough of Mcdermott, he has 2 potential draft picks on his roster and he's lost more home games since the 70's.
Are you calling us Buzzards?
More like Buzzard bait.
Two NBA draft choices and we play like a junior high team, not players fault thats what they are coached like
Perfect even more negative pub to get McD fired.
i figured it was going to be as soon as they took the ball out of bounds with 6 seconds to go.
At some point, this is not the players contribution but it is the coach/coaching system/coaching style/coaching decisions.
That was a very hard game to blow yourself away in the end after having so many opportunities to win, but we found a way.
Not sure which is the worst - Jamaal blowing the layup or one guy streaking through five defenders for the winner.
Gotta give it to them, that was a tough shot. That kid made 2 tough shots during the course of the last few minutes of the game. Props to him, now it's time for us to find somoene who can make a similar type of shot when the pressures on.
This was one of the worst defensive play in the history of college basketball. NOBODY was there to stop him until half court... At that point, he was on his top speed and ready to attack the basket.
Same here. I said "watch this he's going to drive the court, make it and win the game". No shocker there...
This sums up our season...
JT was worse b/c of when and where it was. We have nothing to play for now, so last nights is no big deal. Just sad. The JT miss was huge....and still really hurts:cry:
hey.... at least we are number 1 ...just in the wrong end of it
Speaking of that, did anyone else see Eric Heft when we turned the ball over? He looked like he died.
Saw the play unfold and just thought of Mizzou/UCLA in NCAA's in mid 90's. That shot had no chance of NOT going in.
I thought the fans did a great job down the stretch of coming alive. It was very loud in there at times for such a sparce crowd. Now if only our players could finish a game with a W once in a damn while.
